what's in the brita classic water pitcher filter?

What is in the filter to make the water clean is what I'm trying to say. Can you give me a wed site or where it say that on the Brita site. I looked very where but i cant find it.

What ingredients are found in a Brita® Pitcher Filter?
The Brita® Pitcher Filter contains activated carbon and an ion-exchange resin. All of the ingredients in the filter have been approved by the Water Quality Association.
