there is something wrong with it it doesnt work well. the warranty ran out and i called the company and they told me that they can only repair if it was used for over a year, they didn't recommend me any place of repair.
help please just tell me where i could take it

I used to work for Brita - I would suggest buying a new one. They are not designed to work forever, and they are often updating the models so go treat yourself.
To help make them last as long as possible, wash them frequentley.
PS Don't buy the kettle - they are so complicated that no one will ever be able to make you a cup of tea as you always have to show them how the kettle works!

Are they from the same company? And i tried the brita filter container, and it got dirty in 2 days or less, i had to clean it out with soap and water because it had these little things floating in it. Is the PUR water container a better buy?

those little black powder particles were from the filter. The filter is a charcoal filter and it's perfectly safe to drink. They actually give charcoal to poison patients to help them clean out their system. It just comes out in your fecal matter.

The filter has to be changed every month or so depending on how often it's used.....these things cost $8 a pop...so do you think they last longer than the company attests?

A brita or other filter is a good idea if there are minerals or other substances in your tap water that you'd like to eliminate. It is important to point out that municipal tap water in nearly all areas in the United States is safe to drink (if you'rs wasn't, you'd likely have heard about it unless you live under a rock). Filtration is just a matter of taste.

I use a Brita filter, and have for years. They are rated for three months, and while you do get your best filtration during the beginning of that period, you will get adequate filtration for several more months. Use it until you begin to notice the tastes you'd like to avoid, then replace. I go about five months at a time.

Does anyone know the songs from the Clorox and Brita commercials? The music is beautiful and I wanted to download them. If you never heard the music, go to youtube.com to watch and listen. Does anyone know where you can get the music? I read somewhere that these songs were written specifically for the company and are not available for download.
