My Brita Faucet Filter has gotten some build-up in the creases (on the exterior, not part of the filtration system). The switch that you use to switch from filtered to regular water has so much build-up that I can barely change it. The build-up in the creases is kind of a brownish-orange.
I've soaked it in vinegar but the problem still exists. My wife wants to WD-40 the switch! Any better ideas?
I have a similar problem. Since the net is lacking in complaints about this, we might be the only 2 unlucky ones... I got this one after a couple ...
