I have consider buying a Brita Faucet Filter but is it worth it ...
Absolutely. i use one at my house every day. where i live, the tap water is ok to drink and tastes ok, but it tastes much better through the filter, which has replaceable filter cartridges that actually add minerals to the water.
i use mine to refill plastic water bottles and then put them back in the fridge, so we always have cold, clean water on hand. (the majority of bottled water is bottled at the same source your tap water comes from, so in many cases this filtered water is actually "better" than what came in the bottle originally.)
Brita filters are OK if your just trying to remove impurities and chlorine byproduct. The PUR filter removes chemicals, agricultural contaminants, lead, and microbials. You have to change the filter when your supposed to or all the things you’ve been filtering will "overflow" into your drinking water. PUR is cheaper too. Remember to use the filtered water for cooking too.
...Question about a Brita faucet mount and making bottles of formula?
I have no idea about the brita faucet, it might work but all I do is boil the kettle and then use that water once its cooled, its cheaper than anything else.
Just ignore anyone who tells you to breastfeed, I know how it feels, I wasnt making enough and my baby boy was constantly hungry so we switched to formula….No one can judge you till they have walked in your shoes and knows the situation :0)
