So i just bought my first water filter and it was the brita one, This is not the advance one with the other features like sprinkle, but anyways i installed it, and did that 5 minute conditioning like the booklet said. Although i didn't time it, but the green light is not on. and also when i use the filter for a glass of water there is like little bubbles on top. Is that normal or?

I clean it often, but after a few days the container starts to turn light green inside. I clean it and clean it, but it still returns. Does anyone know what I should do to prevent this from happening anymore?
If you keep the container somehwere where it isn't dark, the green is probably algae. Try keeping it in the dark and see what happens. Algae needs light to form.

Are the ones you can get in argos/tesco loud are can you turn the light off in them? As dont really want to buy it then find out its loud and the light cant be turned off as it will be put in my bedroom. x Thanks
loud - nope not really
light - you might have difficulty, it stays on with no way of turninig it off (except unpluggingit, which somewhat defeats the cooling bit)
