I am trying to find a good water filtration pitcher and I have read so many different things about the brita pitcher and the pur pitcher and I am not sure which would be the better choice. Any suggestions? Such as ease of use? I've heard the brita tends to break easily. Thanks so much!
I'm with the first guy. We've had our Brita pitcher for I think about 8 years, and it still works perfectly. We don't throw it against walls or anything, but we also don't take special precautions to be kind to it. I have no idea what Pur is like, but I'm sure there wouldn't be much of a difference between the two anyway. Plus, using a water filter is way cheaper, easier, healthier, and better for the environment than water bottles, so either brand is a good option!
Brita's pretty easy to use, just sometimes it's a little awkward when filling up the top part with water, but it filters pretty quickly so I've never found it to be a problem. Mine's also old, so maybe the new ones work even better.
brita is wonderful! i use my pitcher all the time, it really takes the iron taste out of my water.

We have a Brita filtered water pitcher that we use to filter our drinking/cooking water. We also have our own water bottles that we refill after drinking.
