of his use the pitcher after it was sitting in the fridge unused for 10 months. If someone were to refill it without cleaning it or changing the filter, would the water be considered dirty, possibly toxic?
Wash it out with hot soapy water, change the filter. The filter is bacteria laden after all this time.
Probably the worst review ever performed by a single man.
The taste of city water bothers me even though I've heard that the water here (Austin, TX) is among the best tasting.
I tried those water filters (Britta) and I thought the water tasted metallic. I tried the pitcher as well as the faucet filter.
A while ago I gave in and started buying bottled water. After going through countless different brands, I've come to favor Fiji and Voss Artesian waters. I particularly like the glass bottle that Voss comes in. It could just be a merchandising trick, but I think the water tastes cleaner than water bottled in plastic bottles. Fiji water appeals to me b/c it tastes very crisp and their 1.5 liter bottle fits perfectly into the cup-holder of my treadmill, haha.
Now, this is just a little survey of sorts but I'd appreciate if you could tell me not only what your favorite brand is but why you prefer it above other brands and whether or not you recycle your bottles after you use them. One-word answers will not get "best answer."
Thanks guys!

I love fiji because of taste and the unique square bottle. I would love to try voss but cant find it locally. I too think water tastes much more crisp and clean out of glass. Seems to taste colder too but it could be all in my head. Tau water is awesome as well but its spring not artesian. as is antipodes. Also glass bottles. Neat clean simple design too.
1Litre water gets my vote for best design because it comes with its own drinking cup

With the help of a filter at home is certainly cheaper and safer than relying on the water bottle, especially considering that as many as 40 percent of them nothing more than purified tap water. The first thing to do in order to test the water to determine how much and what theyType of filtration is necessary. To do this, simply contact your local businesses and get acquainted with a copy of the annual report on water quality as the consumer confidence report. Each program is required by law to issue this is often with the monthly bill. This report will inform you about possible violations of pollution in your system and help determine what type of filtration system is necessary.
...Always a drunk, never a bride: In short
Until there was suddenly a lot POP! from the kitchen. The Boy said - what the fuck was that and as I looked over to the doorway, I saw smoke billowing out of my beautiful beautiful favorite room. In shocked, I ran over to the windows to open them (yeah, cause that's brilliant) while he ran into the room and found our (not a) tea kettle in flames on the stove, with the associated burner also consumed. I ran in after him and much to my alarm the flames were licking the bottom of our cabinets.
