MOST USEFUL - Britta waterfilter. Didn't think I'd use it much, but use it all the time cos it stops our water tasting like the contents of a swimming pool. Also makes me drink loads of water because it tastes really nice.
LEAST USEFUL - A cat food bowl that has a sensor and lifts up a lid when the cat approaches. The cat is absolutely terrified of the whooshing noise it makes and won't go near it. £19.99 down the drain.
The most useful- a laptop. i now have the world at my fingertips.

Do tap water filters (like Britta) work in the islands?
I’m going on a 3 week vacation to St-Kitts. I don’t want to carry bottled water or have to purchase water while I am there. I was wondering, would a “Britta” filter work? Or are there other pesticides or bacteria or something in the water that can’t be filtered with these filtration systems? If they do work, which is the best?
If you are staying at a hotel, the water is probably fine right from the tap. If a Britta filter will make you feel more comfortable, use it. It’s only when you go to developing countries that you have major problems and have to rely on boiling plus a candle filter (something you do not want to lug around on a vacation). Relax and enjoy yourself.
