Im 15 years old, and the only thing I usually drink are energy drinks, soda and juice. I do drink chocolate milk on occasions. But i've never really drank water. I am very healthy, or so I beleive. I'm very fit. I want to only drink water starting the first day of spring break, and I want to do this because I heard water and increase the condition of your health, and youll feel more energetic. Also, your lips will be healthy and you can rarely get sick.

I also take vitamins everyday.

Water is so beneficial in so many ways. Here of some of the things that it helps with:
1) It makes you feel less hungry, so I heard that drinknig a glass of water about half hour before a meal helps you eat less.
2) It cleanses your body (which means it gets rid of toxins which in turn helps to clear up your skin) and helps regulate sodium (from salt) in your body.
3)It helps in the breakdown of fats in your body, so you'll less likely get the dimples in your thighs and problem areas (counts more when you get a bit older).
4) It helps you not to retain fluid in your body (ie water weight is reduced).
5) It makes you feel less constipated.

For you in your current situation the room teperature water will be better. Water must be at body temp before it is used. The cooler it is the longer it takes before your body actually uses it.

Black Band disease was first observed on reefs in Belize by Antonius, who described the pathogen he found infecting massive corals as Oscillatoria membrancea, a bluegreen alga. Distilled water is pure H2o. Is it good for health? if we drink couple of days a week only distilled water will it help in detox'ing the body?

actually we get a good deal of our trace minerals from plain old drinking water, distilled water has none of these trace minerals in it. While it won't hurt you, it isn't going to do much good either.
