Is there a way to make sea water into healthy drinking water.
Most certainly! The answer just depends upon how much time and/or money you have to spend. In fact, there are several options for purifying sea water.
The first option has been around for some time, and that is to distill the sea water. This is done by boiling the water and then condensing it (cooling it). This option requires a source of energy to heat the water, and a way to trap and deliver the steam rising from the heated sea water. The trapped steam that collects is perfectly drinkable water.
The next alternative is filtration. Filtration mechanically seperates the salt (and other materials) from the water molecules. The options include reverse osmosis, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration. The filters include gravity filters, pressure filters, side stream filters, and continuous rotary filters. The only drawback to filters is that they need to be replaced. The rate at which they need to be replaced depends upon the amount filtered and the filter being used. So filtration of sea water on large scales is expensive, and not often used.

I would like to know is there any cheaper method to produce drinking water from sea water. How does it cost to build a biger scale? How can I find the methodology and monthly capacity of this method? Is there easy to maintainance or not? Do this system need to use the chemical to process drinking water? How many country has already used this method? I eat healthy and all I drink is water. I have a few other questions
1. How many lbs would I be able to lose by just drinking water through out the rest of this week and continue to eat healthy?

I tend to put a lot of ice in my drinks. Overtime ice dissolves and makes my drink watery. Is it considered healthy? Ex) Water down fruit drinks such as orange juice, water down soda, water down energy drinks, water down protein drinks, water down tea
I know it gives a nasty taste but does water down drinks kill nutrients such as the calories?
No! This doesn't make anything else healthier it just ruins the taste. It may add more volume to your drink making you drink less calories with each sip compared to the original drink. (This is called diluting) But this does NOT help you if you end up drinking the whole drink, because if you drank the whole drink you would have drank the original amount of sugars and calories plus the water.
