What adapter / where to buy it, do I need to install a Pur Filter on this faucet that does not take the usual adapters... Thanks for your help in advance.
The filter should have all the adaptors needed.
Remove the 3/8" line that goes to the faucet and hook it up to the filter.
Install a new 3/8" flexible line to the faucet.
Screw the filter down to a convenient place.

I know there is already a similar "resolved" question on the subject, but what I am asking is a bit different. I don't mean to use filtered water in my portable dishwasher, just wonder whether the plug would be compatible with the threads located under the filter.
In other words, can I use that faucet for the dishwasher without having to dissemble the filter every time (which would be a real pain) or do I need a separate water outlet?
Yes you can do this but remeber the plastic threads on the filter will strip very easy so be extremely careful when doing this.

My Brita Faucet Filter has gotten some build-up in the creases (on the exterior, not part of the filtration system). The switch that you use to switch from filtered to regular water has so much build-up that I can barely change it. The build-up in the creases is kind of a brownish-orange.
I've soaked it in vinegar but the problem still exists. My wife wants to WD-40 the switch! Any better ideas?

European designer LEAD-FREE faucet.
i have removed the Filter except for the collar. underneath the collar is an attachment holdin the collar on the faucet. I cant get the attachement off because the collar is blocking access to the attachment under the collar. Is the only way to cut off the collar?

The apartment that I moved into had a pur filter already installed onto the faucet, I hate it! I understand that you are supposed to be able to twist it off but no matter how i twist it, it just spins on the faucet. Any suggestions on how to get it off?
I understand how it's supposed so be removed, but it's not working, the top screw part spins with no result. any other ideas?? I'm to the point of destroying it but don't know how to do that either
I have a filter and I know that you twist it off by holding the filter with one hand while unscrewing the part on the faucet with the other. It is done in a counterclockwise motion. The "screw" is really a plastic cog.
If perhaps it is on too tight spray some WD40 on it to loosen it.
Good luck!

Filters Fast - Water and Air Filter Experts: Instapure F5 Faucet ...
I just wanted to share some news on the Instapure F5 Faucet Filter, which was just named a Consumers Digest Best Buy . Since this title is awarded to less than three percent of competing models in each category, it's worth pointing out what makes this filter worthy of such a distinction.
Though the release doesn't specify exactly why Consumers Digest named it a Best Buy, we think it probably has a lot to do with the fact that the Instapure F5 reduces far more contaminants than most faucet filters. Most such filters reduce only the taste and odor of Chlorine, but the Instapure F5 also reduces 99.99% of microbial cysts, as well as lead. Given this, it's not surprising the filter was named a Best Buy, which Consumers Digest defines "as a product that offers the most value for a given amount of money." Filters Fast sells the filter for only $17.
Scott Wright, Instapure's chief executive officer, emphasized how just one faucet filter can reduce a person's dependency on bottled water.
