Is the "PUR Flavor Options Water Filter System" too heavy?

I read a review on the website about the PUR Flavor Options Water Filter System being too heavy for faucets and it causes the faucets to leak. I was wanting to purchase one, but I am not sure now. If anyone has that particular filter system, would you PLEASE let me know. I would really APPRECIATE it.

Wait for the next model to come out. I am sure it will be much better:}

I don't believe it is to heavy, but it is that constant pushing on it that is not good. Go into your kitchen and lightly push on your faucet, you will get the picture.

Water PUR Filter with Flavor?

I'm thinking of getting the new Water PUR Filter with the new flavor thing in them. I was wondering if anyone has gotten this, and if they recommend it? Do you think they will have more than 3 flavors out soon? I don't really like raspberry (don't know why companies always assume people like raspberry...ugh lol). Thank you!

Omg it is the best thing that has ever happened to my family since the actual flavor water bottles! My kids drink healthy amounts of it and they love it! I can even see my 13 year old daughters complextion starting to clear up! It's wonderful, I highly recommend it.

Has anyone tried the new Pur Flavored water filter, either faucet mount or pitcher? Do you like it or hate it?

I have not found one in the store yet, so I am not sure if the fruit flavor is chemical, or if there is artificial sweetner in it. My last Pur faucet mount died today, it was plastic and cracked in several places. And I had it less than a year. My previous metal one lasted 2 1/2 years. Yes I mean the housing, not the individual filters. So anyway I don't want to invest in the flavor type if I'm not going to like it. Anyone with experience? Or is Brita made better, more long lasting?

I haven't tried it; but it isn't a faucet mounted filter, it goes on a pitcher. Here's a link to a tv news caster review. Watch the video.

Sorry--I just checked the Pur site and it DOES come in a faucet mount. Go to: http://purflavor.safeprocessing.com/ for a $2 or $5 coupon.

Has anyone bought the pur water filter pitcher with the flavors?

Is it any good? Usually comes in raspberry and peach flavor.
And you can switch from regular water to flavored water.

no i havent but my friend has and says it was good but only lasts a few hours for 4 people

PUR Flavor Options Review and Giveaway

Through my membership with The Product Review Place , I was able to secure a free PUR Flavor Options pitcher to review. As someone who hates the taste of plain water, the ability to get flavored water without having to buy it in bottles was really intriguing to me. As someone who has a problem with lead in her water, the fact that the pitcher came from PUR made it even better.

The PUR Flavor Options Pitcher – The Review

As mentioned before, we discovered that there is lead in our water from the solder in our pipes, so we already have a PUR faucet mounted filter. Because of this, I was sent the pitcher to review. This was fine with me. (Double filtered water sounds good to me!) We ended up trying the lemon flavor cartridge.

The pitcher looks really intuitive, but you can make yourself look really dumb by thinking you’re smart enough to figure it out without looking at the directions. You fill up the top part with water so it can get filtered into the lower part. Simple, right? Once the water flows through the filter, it’s ready to drink! If you want plain, unflavored water, you don’t touch the blue button. If you want flavored water, you press the blue button.
