Let's face it, tap water comes from the water you once used to wash dishes, taking a shower or bath, cleaning water-based paint brushes & rollers, washing clothes, and using the toilet (ugh!!) It goes to a water purifying plant where its treated many ways with clorine bleach added to it which you can smell ,before it comes out of the tap. Recycled water in other words. Even Aquafina is now switching to using tap water in their bottles. They will still sell its regular pure water. Restaurants use tap water now!I prefer pure bottled water. No tap water for me!!

i rather have pure bottle water, than tap water because you might get really sick from tap water

In this months magazine we take a look at the Lifesaver Water bottle and put it to the test. It claims to make any putrid water source 99% pure ...

It also lists Potassium Bicarbonate. Why do they call it pure water? Isn't that false advertising?

I am trying to drink the recommended 1 litre of water a day. I've been drinking normal tap water because i have a water purifier but just want to make sure if its ok to drink tap water or should i buy pure bottled water?

The water you drink out of the tap is actually more highly regulated than the so called bottled pure water. EPA tests and inspects water treatment plants where as i believe the department of Ag oversees the bottled water industry and they usually do not have as strict regulations for water purity.
