I was just curious, and I can't find anything that will say otherwise. :/ Does the PUR Faucet Water Filter take out alot of salt? Like Pure or Distilled water? I don't know alot about this stuff, so I really want to know. xD Please help!
I don't believe so. It only removes the impurities.

I love drinking water, but I'm confused on how to drink the cleanest and most pure water.
Some people say that tap water is fine
Some people say that bottled water is best
Some people warn about drinking out of plastic bottles because the plastic leaches into food with the bottles are left in a hot delivery truck
Some people suggest buying that water faucet attachment that filters water
Some people suggest buying those special water pitchers with filers
Could someone help me determine what the safest and most clean and healthy water source is please?
Even rain water is not 100% pure as it comes into contact with airborne pollutants.
I'd say not to worry about it too much...all clean water is fine to drink and will do you no harm.. and remember, some parts of the world dont have the luxury of it.

i read an article in readers digest and it said aot of bottled waters are just faucet water but how dou kno which ones can someone please give me a link also
If it's purified (filtered) water, then it's from a faucet somewhere, which is fine. I use a Britta pitcher with filters the water. I do it to save on throwing away plastic. Water tastes great.
If it's spring water, then it's not from a faucet.
I couldn't careless about how healthy, pure or w/e BS is on the description. I want a water that taste good room temp and cold. Tap water use to be good, but recently all it taste like to me is chlorine. So i've been trying bottled water. ALL OF IT TASTE LIKE THERE IS HAIRSPRAY MIXED WITH IT. WTF!

Also, I'd drink Fiji water, I thought it was pretty good but the darn stuff is ridiculous price wise. AND I don't like drink mix such as koolaid or crystal light. Usually if the crave arises I will drink apple juice or a soda pop.
I think a lot of bottled water is regional, so you might not have it there, but our favorites here in Northern California are Calistoga and Crystal Geyser.
I think the 'hairspray' taste comes from the bottle. You are smelling the plastic and that's affecting the taste of the water. Try pouring it into a glass and drinking it from that
