My chemistry homework's confusing me I have to write the skeletal equation for that as well as baking soda (sodium hydrogen carbonate) decomposing to form sodium carbonate, carbon dioxide, and water. What would the skeletal equations for that be? Thanks in advance ;) Much appreciated.

If i distil water salt and ethanol i will get evaporate off ethanol at about 80degreesC. And then i will have salt plus water. BUT i will still have some water in the ethanol!? and will i have some ethanol in the water/salt solution?! If i assume i have pure water/salt and i ethanol/bit of water. is it because of Azeotrope ratios. so that meens i will always have some water in with the ethanol? or does it meen i will have ethanol in with the water/salt solution!?

does salt have any effect on anything?
Water is a somewhat volatile liquid. Obviously, it evaporates at room temperature. So you might expect some water to go to the vapor phase at the temperature of boiling ethanol. Which is exactly what happens. Therefore you end up with ethanol and some water as your distillate. Because of the BP of the azeotrope you will always have some water in the ethanol (at least 5%)
But the water and salt mixture still in the boiling flask will be free of ethanol. The ethanol and the ethanol/water azeotrope have already boiled off by the time the remaining water reaches 100C.
I read the back of the conditioner and it says it removes chlorine and chloramine, neutralizes heavy metals, and coast to protect and heal. It says it protects scales and fins. "Pure Herbal Extracts visibly reduce stress attributed to transportaion, handling, and acclimatization.

I didn't realize they sold me a fish tank water conditioner because I had just listened to the pet store employee (I'm not sure why I didn't look it up first...)
My question is do you think whatever is in there that coats scales and fins is safe for my turtle?
Do you think the stuff that coats fins and scales can harm my turtle's eyes or harm him in any other way?
It is safe, but unnecessary since turtles can live in regular untreated tap water. Pet stores are always going to try and sell you stuff you don't need.
I have pregnancy induced hypertension and pitting edema caused by severe water retention- I am doing all that I can to stop this but I am almost at the end of my rope- I weighted 208 on my monday appt. then stopped by to have my bp checked this morning and it was 214! 6 pounds in five days! The Dr. wants to see me on Monday so they are keeping an eye on it my bp was 138/88- close to border line ( I wonder how high they will let it go before I get put in the hospital??? I am already on bed rest, Low sodium Diet ( I eat nothing canned or processed) lots of salads and fruits, I refill my 32 oz water bottle at least once a day to make sure I get at least 64 oz of pure water plus my milk and juice)
I just have no idea what else I can do- has anyone else on here been on diuretics while pregnant? I just want to be healthy and be able to get up to go to the bathroom without running out of breath! How bad is labor going to be if I'm not strong enough to hold my own weight! LOL this is not for self image- I have a very supportive husband who makes me feel beautiful every day regardless-

i am not currently on any medications for blood pressure. My Dr. has not even brought that subject up yet- I need to talk to him on monday about that. . .
It doesn't hurt to ask, there may be a medication out there that is safe for pregnant women. Good luck and take care of yourself.
