I just replaced my replacement cartridge on my price pfister 526-50xx faucet. When I turn on the water supply no water comes out of the faucet. The instructions very easy to handle so I'm a little confused.
Check the instructions again carefully.
It's possible that you placed the cartridge in reverse, in which case, turn it 1/2 turn and reinsert it.

Easiest to do is get a replacement cartridge. Before installing the new cartridge run the water a little to flush out any sediment n the lines.

I'm looking for a good R.O. water filter that that doesn't require purchasing a replacement cartridge every few months. I currently use an Aqua Wizard, and I really like it, but I have to replace the filter every 8-10 weeks. What kind do you use, how much does it cost and how much are the replacement filters?
Wow, replacing filter every 8-10 weeks is too often. Are you using well water or city water. If city water, it should be every year. If it is well water, you may have too much sediment and in this case you need to change your sediment filter more often. Or best install a whole hole sediment fitler.

turn the water off under the sink. use a set of channel locks to unscrew the nut holding in the sink cartrage. pull out the cartrage and take it to the hardware store. Match it up and go from there. these are usually really easy repairs and should only cost a few bucks. sometimes you only need a few washers and those only cost pennies. good luck
