If the ice maker gets filtered water, and my ice maker works, why doesn't my water dispenser work? I get plenty of ice but no water at all. There's a relay/solenoid that clicks in the back of the unit when I close the water dispenser contacts. I can hear that.

Also, when I replaced the filter I never heard it fill up. How can the ice maker be getting water from it?

I verified the temp settings on both fridge and freezer. They are in the normal range.

Help!


The water line runs through the freezer to cool the water before it is dispensed into your glass it is very possible it is frozen in that area.
If that is the case you will have to find the line and defrost it.

Sounds like it is clogged. Open the door and see if you can free up a lodged piece of ice.

I have replaced the water line and water filter. I then replaced the icemaker-no difference. I then replaced water valve assembly- no difference. Could it be a controller problem?

You replaced the complete icemaker and water inlet valve, and it still doesn't work? Then the fill tube that runs into the icemaker is frozen shut... You need to remove that and thaw it out and then it should work...
