Does anyone know where I can buy the handle of water dispenser, i am not sure wat u call them, but where the water comes out from the dispenser, the handle sorta thingi. They broke and i am not sure where to buy only the "HANDLE",so if anyone of you know.....do let me know:)

Hi. The water dispenser in my KitchenAid Superba refrigerator is not working. It was slowing down for a long time...you'd have to hold the glass there for several seconds before the water would come out. The time got longer and longer until water just stopped coming out altogether. I changed the in-line filter a few weeks ago, and that worked to fix it for about 3 days. Then it started taking longer again, and now it doesn't work anymore again. The ice maker still seems to work, although I don't use too much ice, so I'm not positive about this. I have a feeling that there are mineral deposits in the line somewhere, but I don't know how to get it out. I'd love some suggestions, other than to call a repairman. I will if it comes to that, but I already know that a repairman could fix it. I wouldn't have asked if I thought that was the only answer. Thanks!

If you can find the water line to the dispenser, close the root valve near the wall and find the connection CLOSEST to the dispenser. If it's a simple tubing fitting you can disconnect it with a wrench(lefty/loosey-righty/tighty.)

Put a receptacle near the open tubing end and open the valve- if you have a good flow your plug is futher down the line. Connect and keep checking until you find plug. A good soak in vinegar will loosen and usually clear scale buildup.

I installed a water line to the fridge, and the water coming from the water dispenser is very slow and the ice is being made at a very slow rate also. I have the water line coming up from the basement, as the fridge is on the opposite side of the kitchen from the sink.

I suspect the problem is from low water pressure. How do I measure the water pressure, and if I need a pump to increase the water pressure to the fridge, which one do I get, and where do I get one?

Any positive help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
The water filter in the fridge is brand new (as I just connected the water line) and the water pressure from the faucet is fine.

One thing to check is the connection to the plumbing in the wall. Sometimes the connections have shut-off valves that can be opened or closed (sometimes just partially). If the shut off valve is partially closed it can restrict the water's flow to the dispenser for both the liquid water and ice.

We pour our water from the dispenser, take a few sips, and go to bed. An undetermined amount of time later, a loud bubble of air blubbers up to the top. What took it so long?

I assume it's like a 5 gallon bottle turned upside down

you get a few cups out before the bubble
and if you are really close - it will have staying power - but
little by little - that air bubble will force its way free from the water below
and GULP - the ghost in the kitchen is taking a drink

(either that or phydeaux is getting mighty tricky!)

I've got this Coleman cooler n water dispenser which has been leaking by a very little amount... i still couldn't see the crack, but it's leaking... I'd prefer to buy a new one, but some of my friends advised to jus keep it anyway...cuz it can still hold water although leaking a bit..

So i wanna ask on how to repair it...

If I have found the crack, does anyone know how to seal it safely and strongly, yet will not poison the drink that I will put in the dispenser? (super glue? or what? and how exactly?)

just go buy a new one I would rather do that then worry about being poisned
