My pool was a bit green after a bad storm so I put algecide in the pool. But I put in way too much and the pool instantly got cloudy. I took the water to a pool service and they tested it, I added what they told me but it is still cloudy (from the excess algeacide. Do I need to drain and refill, starting from scratch? Or is therre a way to fix this. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
Make sure you test the water's pH. It must be 7.2. If it is below you will need to add some sodium bicarbonate. This will bring it into alignment. Check the chlorinity as well. This will give you a better idea as to how much chlorine you have in the pool. If you need more add it. Don't just throw chemicals into a pool without first checking the pH and chlorinity

Fairly baggy shorts or long trousers (depending on the season).
Also, non-slip shoes of some kind and a hat.
