I am trying to make a new sport and a ball that skims across water is one of the things i need to make the sport. if anyone has ideas for things i can use please respond asap, thanks.

Red of course, the water doesn't matter, the blue has a patch of yellow, and the yellow has a patch of red.

The air in the ball is less dense than the surrounding pool water so less dense things rise upwards like a balloon. Helium is lighter than the Oxygen/Nitrogen mix found in the atmosphere and it is exactly the same with the pool and the ball. And when you drop something in like a rock it sinks to the bottom because more dense objects fall through the more dense ones like rain. In a pool there's more water so it seems like the air is naturally on top but in rain there is more air so it's like a mix until the gravitational attraction/density problems are fixed.

I know it's kind of gross, but I have this water bottle on my dresser in my dorm that's been there for about a month. It has about an inch of water in it, which I used 3-4 weeks ago (it was clean) to rinse out the little measuring cup for my cough syrup (I had a sinus infection and a bad cough). Being lazy, I then poured the water back into the bottle instead of going to the bathroom to dump it in the sink. So now, about a month later, I was going to throw the bottle out but noticed that, at the bottom of the little pool of pinkish water, there is a white, fuzzy-looking growth. It is almost a perfect sphere except for the bottom part, which is completely flat. It looks like a little ball of cotton or something. It is about 1.5cm in diameter and 1cm tall. It is light pink, from the cough syrup probably, and is darker pink in the center. I'm guessing it's some kind of mold? Is it from the cough syrup? Or maybe bacteria from my infection? Any insight would be appreciated.
