I have tried scraping with pumice, wire brush and wire brush with muriatic acid. Do I really have to sand blast it to get rid of it?
There is a product called stain and scale and is used mostly to prevent the build up of calcium - you can try that or call a local pool company and have them come out to do an acid etching. It costs a bit of money but is worth it. After they acid etch it (which requires them to empty the pool) you fill it with fresh water and keep your calcium in the 200-400 ppm range and at winterization add a quart of stain and scale to prevent build up over the winter.

Thanks for the responses. Now let me add this...what if it's a girl?
Short sleeved or sleeveless t-shirt/polo shirt (personally, I think having a collar on a shirt does make it look professional, but it's not essential).
Fairly baggy shorts or long trousers (depending on the season).
Also, non-slip shoes of some kind and a hat.
Cheers :-)
i have a pool that is pebble tech bottom but tile around the water line. its a darker color tile and i have a white (calcium?) buildup around the whole pool. How do i get rid of it?!?! i tried a pool soap that said it worked but DIDNT, and I tried CLR but it didnt seem to work either. any help?
See if your local pool store can find some "Scale-B-Gone". I hate the name, but love the product. Be careful with it, though. It bites! Paint it on- it's a gel- and let it sit about 10 minutes. Then rinse it off. CAUTION: use ONLY on pool tile. It will burn holes in anything else. After you get rid of the buildup, clean the tile weekly with comet to avoid this problem in the future.
Most of the phone applications still working except for some unrecognized apps like 2ndary cam, no radio signal and some busted backlights. Can the corrosion still be slow down or reversed? Help please!
Sorry, but it the corrosion is going to keep going. You'll have to buy a new phone.
This pool of water keeps collecting and freezing on fresser side of fridge. Is there anything i can do to repair it before calling on a service tech?
Try cleaning off the coils on the back. These get dirty and will cause the condenser unit to work harder than it needs to.
AquaSkipper Hydrofoil Review - Walk-on-Water Ball Review - Pool ...
AquaSkipper Human-Powered Hydrofoil The concept behind this human-powered surface-skipping hydrofoil is simple—jump on it, and then keep on jumping in order to power a series of underwater fins that cause you to bounce across a body of water. It looks goofy and fun, but in practice it is extremely difficult. Nearly all of our would-be testers rapidly sank to the bottom. After a bit of practice, one of our testers was able to keep it moving for about 10 feet before sinking like a stone. And another seemed to have mastered it: Maneuvering the machine for about 100 yards (at which point, he was out of breath and extremely exhausted). If you're one of the lucky ones who is able to master this hard-to-use device, it's a lot of fun, and great exercise. But try it out before you buy it, just to make sure.
