The tanks nearly empty, and I noticed a small bug floating in it, almost ant size, but slightly smaller and I have no idea what to do.

On some desparate occasions I have drunk the water, I personally don't care but just want to know how bad this might be.

It must have come from inside since there is no way in once the keg/tank is on the machine...

I have seen a mixer one but not sure if I can have it. If there's a water tank am I tied to a particular shower (ie electric), as my boiler has to heat up the water for me to use?

its all very well people saying you can have any type of shower ..you can ..but its very important where the water supplies come from ..whilst you can have a mixer shower where the hot supply is tank fed ...you cant have a tank fed cold feed ..remember when you have a shower the water often goes in your mouth and you could have stagnant water in cold tank ...best to have cold feed direct from rising main

recently we constructed a water storage tank in our house, i want to know the storage capacity of my water (in litres), is there any formula to calculate this ? Size of the tank is 6 x 4 x 8.

You forgot to put the unit of measurement of your tank. Is it in meters or in feet and are these measurements are inner or outer measurements? The storage capacity of your tank is the volume of the tank itself.

A) Assuming all measurements are inner side of tank and in meters:
Volume = L x W x H
Volume = 6m x 4m x 8m
Volume = 192 cubic meters

1 cubic meter = 1,000 liters
Therefore : The capacity of your tank is (192 x 1,000) = 192,000 liters

B) Assuming all the measurements are in feet :
Volume = L x W x H
Volume = 6' x 4' x 8'
Volume = 192 cubic feet

1 cubic feet = 28.32 liters
Therefore : The capacity of your tank is (192 x 28.32) = 5,437.44 liters

While doing septic system maintenance, I noticed a slow but steady dripping from the house drain into the tank although there was no one in the house using any water. I can find no water leaks in the house. Even when I shut off the water to the house, and remove all water from the toilet tanks and bowls, the dripping continues. Where could this be coming from? Please help as my septic system is being overloaded.

A slow steady drip shouldn't hurt your septic. You realize that your septic stands full all the time right? When functioning correctly, your septic is full, the solids break down and the liquids move on to the fields and evaporate and or are absorbed by the dirt. You may have an A/C condensate drain or high efficiency furnace condensate drain that is draining into the septic line, or a leaky toilet, or ??????
